DESCRIPTION Hero Xpulse 200T 4V Standard

Price: Hero Xpulse 200T 4V price for its variant - Xpulse 200T 4V Standard is estimated at Rs. 1,37,740. The mentioned Xpulse 200T 4V price is the average ex-showroom.

Hero Xpulse 200T 4V is a bike available in only 1 variant and 3 colours. The Hero Xpulse 200T 4V is powered by 199.6cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 18.9 bhp and a torque of 17.3 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Hero Xpulse 200T 4V comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Xpulse 200T 4V bike weighs 153 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters.

Hero MotoCorp replaced the Xpulse 200T in the Indian market with the launch of the Xpulse 200T 4V. The biggest update comes in the mechanical form with the valve setup and the new Xpulse 200T 4V comes with a four-valve setup instead of the two-valve layout on the discontinued model. Thus, this motorcycle, too, uses a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil/air-cooled motor. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, this motorcycle produces a maximum output of 18.8bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 17.35Nm at 6,500rpm.

Apart from the mechanical updates, this motorcycle also gets a few styling tweaks. The front fascia, for example, now gets a body-coloured fly screen above the LED headlight. It also gets gaitered front forks. Meanwhile, the tail luggage rack has been replaced by a tubular pillion grab rail. Hero MotoCorp has also updated the colour palette and this motorcycle is available in three paint options – Sports Red, Matt Funk Lime Yellow, and Matt Shield Gold. All paint themes feature a dual-tone finish along with new graphics.

Meanwhile, the feature list remains unchanged and the new Xpulse 200T 4V continues to use an LED headlight, LED taillight, and a Bluetooth-enabled LCD instrument cluster with call alerts and turn-by-turn navigation function, a USB charging port, and a side stand sensor.

The suspension hardware includes telescopic front forks and a seven-step adjustable rear mono-shock. The braking setup includes petal-type disc brakes on both ends while the safety net includes single-channel ABS. This road-biased variant comes with 17-inch alloy wheels shod in tubeless tyres.

The Xpulse 200T 4V rivals the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the Honda Hornet 2.0 in the Indian market.
